W. Robert Tolley lives and paints near Cambridge. Working in oil on board or stretched canvas, each painting grows out of his observations and love for the richness of the Chesapeake Bay region. Following an MFA, he earned an EdD from Nova Southeastern University. He was a respected art instructor in the Dorchester County School System. The Grand National Waterfowl Association has awarded Bob Artist of The Year three times. An active member of the arts' community, he co-founded the Dorchester Center for the Arts, the Dorchester Educators' Art Show and is a founding-member of the internationally acclaimed Ward Museum.
