There stands a tall monument in Greenlawn Cemetery. Those who see it wonder about the meaning of the broken column and who is buried there. Learn about this WW I Veteran and the monument built in his memory.

Restoration of the Lady Katie Skipjack
The Lady Katie was built by boat builder Bronza Parks in Wingate and launched in 1956. The Lady Katie was one his last three skipjacks including the Rosie Parks (1955) and the Martha Lewis in (1955).
